If you don’t see any shared libraries
Others on your local network can share their iTunes libraries with you. You can view and listen to items in shared libraries by selecting them in the iTunes window.
If you don’t see anything under Shared, check the following:

Make sure “Look for shared libraries†is selected in the Sharing pane of iTunes preferences.

Make sure the triangle next to Shared is pointing downward (click the triangle).

If you still don’t see any shared libraries, there may not be any computers on your local network with sharing turned on.
