If your Apple TV doesn’t appear in iTunes
If your AppleÂ TV doesn’t appear in the iTunes window (below Devices), note the following:
Make sure your AppleÂ TV is turned on and connected to your network. To check your network settings on your AppleÂ TV, choose SettingsÂ > General > Network.
Choose EditÂ > Preferences, click AppleÂ TV, and make sure â€œLook for AppleÂ TVsâ€ is selected.
