Enabling VoiceOver in iPod shuffle (3rd generation)
VoiceOver makes it easy to navigate through your content in iPod shuffle (3rd generation), by announcing the names of playlists, songs, and artists, along with battery status and other messages. To hear these announcements, you need to install the VoiceOver Kit and enable VoiceOver in iTunes.
If VoiceOver isn’t enabled, you still hear generic playlist names (Playlist 1, Playlist 2, and so on) and other messages, in English only. You don’t hear song or artist names.
